- Rewritten with sources and a last-verified date: the home page, the history overview, historic buildings and churches, the 1885 book page, About, Contact and Privacy.
- New: more than 100 articles and biographies on history, landmarks, neighborhoods, former municipalities, newspapers, sports teams, events and institutions.
- New: the editorial policy, corrections policy, cookie policy, advertising page and sources page.
- New: research tools: surname search of the 1885 biographical sketches, timeline, map of historic places, historic buildings index, records checklist, population chart, street names, calculators and a quiz.
- The biographical sketches from the 1885 book were cleaned of old markup and given unique titles; their text is unchanged.
- The pages about the flag of Canada and several others were rewritten after the earlier text could not be verified.
